Domestic and International Academicians and Scholars Gather at LinkZill

Recently, at the invitation of Dr. Linrun Feng, Founder and Co-CEO of LinkZill, several domestic and international academicians and scholars visited the company. They explored the interdisciplinary progress of Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) technology in the fields of new optoelectronics and life sciences. Professor S. Ravi P. Silva, a Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK), the European Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Sciences of Sri Lanka, a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), and the founder and head of the Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) at the University of Surrey, recently visited LinkZill’s TFT semiconductor R&D centre in Hangzhou, which spans over 1,000 square meters. He engaged in discussions with the LinkZill team on technological R&D, international industrialization developments, and collaboration opportunities.

Dr. Feng Linrun introduced Professor Ravi Silva to LinkZill’s innovative achievements and global Layout in the fields of new optoelectronics and interdisciplinary life sciences. He stated that LinkZill, backed by China’s strong and mature TFT semiconductor manufacturing industry, is rooted in China and aims to bring innovative technologies and products to the global market. He hopes to deepen cooperation with global partners to contribute positively to technological progress and industrial development in China and beyond.

Professor Ravi Silva expressed full recognition of LinkZill’s innovative work. He noted that LinkZill’s industrialization of TFT technology in life sciences, new sensing, and display fields has garnered widespread international attention. He looks forward to more opportunities for in-depth exchanges with LinkZill in the future.

During the same period, Professor Arokia Nathan, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and former professor at the University of Cambridge, now at Shandong University, also visited LinkZill for exchanges. As Dr. Linrun Feng’s mentor during his visiting scholarship at the University of Cambridge, Professor Arokia Nathan has maintained close communication with us. He expressed affirmation and appreciation for LinkZill’s recent vitality and achievements on the international stage.

As a pioneer in developing and applying TFT circuit technology, Professor Arokia Nathan has had a profound impact on the design and development of TFT circuit architectures. He stated that LinkZill has solid technical accumulation in the TFT field and is very pleased to see LinkZill continuously leveraging the advantages of TFT technology to play a unique role in global interdisciplinary innovation. He expressed genuine happiness for the progress we have made.

In addition to welcoming visits from industry seniors, LinkZill continues to build academic exchange platforms to meet with 「 Zhi 」 friends worldwide.

Former Senior Vice President of Samsung R&D Center, Professor Jong Min Kim from the University of Cambridge, and Researcher Luigi G. Occhipinti. from the University of Cambridge also attended the event, discussing research trends and collaboration opportunities with us.

Several globally leading academic experts delivered academic reports in various fields, including TFT semiconductors, perovskite materials, nanomaterials, and flexible wearable devices. The aim is to focus on the latest international industry advancements, address practical industrial needs, and explore new ways of industry-academia-research collaboration.

Currently, in the optoelectronics field, LinkZill has pioneered a series of portable standardized system products and continues to provide TFT-customized chip services to domestic and international customers. In 2023, the company achieved nearly ten million in revenue, serving over 200 global customers, with approximately 30% of the business coming from overseas markets.

At the same time, LinkZill is actively unlocking the potential of TFT technology in the life sciences field, empowering high-throughput construction and testing R&D scenarios, and addressing key bottleneck issues in life sciences research.

Dr. Kang Kang

Partner & CBio

Dr. Kang received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from the University of Hong Kong in 2018, then became a scientific co-worker of the Leibniz Association (Leibniz-HKI) and a visiting scientist at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (DTU Biosustain) at the Technical University of Denmark. He was a scientist at BGI-Shenzhen and co-founded the synthetic biology research group. He was a senior bioinformatics engineer and brand advisor at WeGene. In 2021, Kang joined Biosysen Limited as a co-founder and served as Chief Informatics Scientist. He is also an advisor and author of the biotech media "Regenesis". He has been dedicated to the R&D and industrialization of OMICs technologies, high-throughput technologies, and synthetic biology for over 10 years. He joined LinkZill in March 2023, responsible for semiconductor life science tools and product planning.
