Organized by the IEEE Electron Devices Society, IEDM is the world’s top academic conference in semiconductor devices, often described as the “Olympics” of the field. In recent years, many major breakthroughs in integrated circuit technology have been officially announced at this conference. The number of accepted papers at IEDM reflects the research level of universities and companies in the field.
