Job description

We are seeking a Technical Business Development Specialist to drive the market expansion and adoption of LinkZill’s core TFT semiconductor solutions. In this role, you will lead business initiatives to position our semiconductor chips and testing systems within targeted industries, cultivating relationships with key partners and clients, and managing the end-to-end commercialization process. The ideal candidate will combine a solid technical understanding of TFT semiconductors with a proven business development background. We also welcome applications from students with relevant technical backgrounds for internship opportunities.

 

1. Develop and execute strategies for introducing LinkZill’s TFT semiconductor chips, functional materials, and testing systems to the global market, focusing on industries such as life sciences, sensing technology, and displays.
2. Identify target markets and establish strong business cases for product application, conducting detailed competitor and market trend analyses.
3. Act as the technical representative for LinkZill’s TFT products, conveying technical specifications and product advantages to clients, and adapting presentations to meet the needs of various industries.
4. Collaborate closely with R&D to tailor and optimize product features based on market demands, ensuring product relevance and competitive differentiation.
5. Build and manage relationships with potential clients, research institutions, and technology partners to drive adoption and co-development of LinkZill’s TFT technology.
6. Lead sales processes, from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and deal closure, ensuring effective follow-up and client satisfaction.
7. Conduct feasibility analyses for client projects, assessing both technical and commercial potential, and providing recommendations for strategic product alignment.
8. Monitor project progress, address client feedback, and communicate any adjustments to internal teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
9. Represent LinkZill at industry conferences, expos, and networking events to increase brand awareness and engage with key decision-makers in related fields.
10. Collaborate with marketing to create effective outreach and promotional materials, supporting the platform’s visibility and market positioning.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, semiconductor technology, materials science, or a related technical field; additional qualifications in business or marketing are beneficial.
2. Experience in business development, product management, or technical sales within the semiconductor or related high-tech industries.
3. Hands-on experience with TFT technology, semiconductor materials, or testing/driver systems is highly advantageous.
4. Strong understanding of TFT semiconductor applications, particularly in life sciences, sensors, and display markets.
5. Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, commercially relevant language for diverse audiences.
6. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in closing deals and building partnerships.
7. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.
8. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliverables.
9. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying market needs and translating them into actionable business opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)

Dr. Kang Kang

Dr. Kang received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from the University of Hong Kong in 2018, then became a scientific co-worker of the Leibniz Association (Leibniz-HKI) and a visiting scientist at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (DTU Biosustain) at the Technical University of Denmark. He was a scientist at BGI-Shenzhen and co-founded the synthetic biology research group. He was a senior bioinformatics engineer and brand advisor at WeGene. In 2021, Kang joined Biosysen Limited as a co-founder and served as Chief Informatics Scientist. He is also an advisor and author of the biotech media "Regenesis". He has been dedicated to the R&D and industrialization of OMICs technologies, high-throughput technologies, and synthetic biology for over 10 years. He joined LinkZill in March 2023, responsible for semiconductor life science tools and product planning.
