LinkZill was founded in January 2019, headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with a B&D center in Cambridge, UK. LinkZill has been certified as National High-tech Enterprise, Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique, and Innovative SMEs, and Provincial R&D Center of Zhejiang.

So far, LinkZill has served more than 300 technology companies, universities, and research institutes worldwide with the core technology of thin-film transistor (TFT) semiconductor. LinkZill's core team members come from highly-reputed universities across the border, including the University of Cambridge, the University of Florida, Leibniz-Gemeinschaft, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, etc., with extensive experience in the biological and semiconductor industries from BGI, BOE, TCL CSOT, Tianma Microelectronics, and other leading companies.

创始人兼联席首席执行官

博士毕业于上海交通大学电子科学与技术专业,剑桥大学联合培养,本科毕业于华中科技大学光电信息工程专业。曾任英国NeuDrive(依托于英国国家实验室)副总裁,负责中国地区产业化推广。专注于新型半导体技术超过15年的时间。先后入选杭州市青年人才项目、长三角G60 U30青年创业榜单,获评杭州市杰出留创青年英才、36氪「36Under36」青年创业者等荣誉称号,擅长「从零到一」与战略布局,负责团队搭建、企业文化与全球商业开拓。

Dr. Linrun Feng

Founder & Co-CEO

Linrun Feng obtained his bachelor's degree in Optoelectronic Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in June 2010 and his Ph.D. in Electronic Science and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 2016, with joint training at the University of Cambridge. He was VP of NeuDrive, a UK company originating from the National Laboratory, where he was responsible for technology and market development in China. With over 15 years of experience in frontier semiconductor technology, he has been recognized by Hangzhou’s Youth Talent Program, the Yangtze River Delta G60 U30 Entrepreneurship List, and 36Kr’s “36Under36” list of Young Entrepreneurs. He specializes in early-stage innovation and strategic development, leading team building, corporate culture, and global expansion.

Dr. Yixing Yang

Partner & Co-CEO

Yixing Yang obtained his bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2007 and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida in 2011. He was R&D Director at the US startup NanoPhotonica from 2011 to 2015 and Director of New Display Technology R&D at TCL Research from 2015 to 2022, focusing on the development of new semiconductor display technology, including printing displays and QLED. With over 15 years of experience in semiconductor materials and devices, he holds more than 250 invention patents and is the most prolific inventor in the field of QLED worldwide. He joined LinkZill in June 2022, leading corporate management and overall business operations.

Dr. Zhe Liu

Co-founder & CTO

Zhe Liu obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in March 2015, with joint training at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Semiconductor from March 2013 to August 2014. He was a senior engineer at China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT), contributing to the design and construction of CSOT’s first G4.5 LTPS-AMOLED R&D line and the trial production of its first AMOLED display panel, which enabled the world’s first domestically produced flexible foldable screen substrate. With over 15 years of experience in semiconductor device micro/nano fabrication, he drives LinkZill’s full-chain domestic development from design to materials and devices, and leads overall technology strategy and development. He has been recognized by 36Kr’s “36Under36” Young Entrepreneur list.

Dr. Kang Kang

Partner & CBio

Dr. Kang received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from the University of Hong Kong in 2018, then became a scientific co-worker of the Leibniz Association (Leibniz-HKI) and a visiting scientist at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (DTU Biosustain) at the Technical University of Denmark. He was a scientist at BGI-Shenzhen and co-founded the synthetic biology research group. He was a senior bioinformatics engineer and brand advisor at WeGene. In 2021, Kang joined Biosysen Limited as a co-founder and served as Chief Informatics Scientist. He is also an advisor and author of the biotech media "Regenesis". He has been dedicated to the R&D and industrialization of OMICs technologies, high-throughput technologies, and synthetic biology for over 10 years. He joined LinkZill in March 2023, responsible for semiconductor life science tools and product planning.

Gaoya Yang

Partner & COO

Gaoya Yang obtained her B.S. in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University, with joint training at the International University of Monaco. She was previously responsible for content creation and public relations at ZhenFund, helping its portfolio companies. She also served as the director of the Japanese pavilion at the China International Import Expo permanent exhibition hall, driving Shanghai’s first bonded exhibition and trading pilot. She founded the U.S.-based production company Immaterial Media, producing documentaries and curating cultural and art projects in China, the U.S., Italy, and France. She joined LinkZill in June 2023, leading human resources, brand promotion, public affairs, and other operational areas.
